Time for more Ghostbusters fun time action. We’ll take a look today at Ghostbusters II.

Bill Murray was not a fan of how the film turned out.
Cheech Marin has a cameo as a Dock Attendant.
Actor Wilhelm von Homburg played the role of Vigo. All of his lines though, were dubbed by the legendary Max von Sydow.
Vigo was based on Vlad III The Impaler and Grigory Rasputin.
Director Ivan Reitman’s kids Jason and Catherine had small roles in the film. Both Jason and Catherine have had successful careers in the business with Jason being most known for directing films such as “Juno” and “Up in the Air,” while Catherine has been a recurring guest star on “Family Guy” and has had roles in a number of films including “Knocked Up.”
Between the original Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, the animated series, The Real Ghostbusters, made its debut. Due to its great success, especially among kids, Ghostbusters II was toned a bit in comparison to the original movie in terms of adult humor/behaviors to make it a little more kid friendly. Included in this, is other than a few scenes with Ray having a cigar, none of the Ghostbusters smoked cigarettes anymore. Also some characters, including Slimer, had a different appearance to more closely match the cartoon.
